Accessibility statement
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Our goal
Breizhzion aims for WCAG 2.2 level AA conformance for this site: nobody should be excluded from a protection tool. The association also publishes Hucheor, a sound beacon for blind and partially sighted people, and applies the same standard to all its projects.
Conformance status
The site has not had a complete manual audit, so we do not claim full conformance. Here is what was checked, and what was not.
What was checked (9 October 2026)
- Automated audit with axe-core on every page, in all four languages, at several screen widths: no violations.
- Contrast calculated for every text and background pair: 6.4:1 at minimum against a 4.5:1 threshold.
- No horizontal scrolling, even at 320 px wide: content reflows, including the comparison table, which becomes a list of cards.
- Keyboard navigation: skip link, logical order, visible focus ring, menu usable without a mouse, touch targets of at least 44 px in the menu.
- No information carried by colour alone: the preview's statuses always have a word and an icon.
- The "reduce motion" preference is respected, the language of each page and of foreign words is declared, and the menu works without JavaScript.
Known limits
- No testing with screen readers on a real device: the audit is automated, with partial manual checks.
- The Korean and Portuguese versions are translations awaiting review by a native speaker.
- Fonts come from the association's CDN: if they fail to load, text is shown in the system font, still readable.
- This statement covers the website. The app is designed to the same standard (accessibility labels, 44-point targets, statuses without colour alone) but is not published yet. Third-party sites we link to are not covered.
